By creating an account or using Sanctimus, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Sanctimus is a spiritual companion app providing Bible reading in multiple translations, prayers, novenas, saints, an AI-assisted chatbot, and other devotional content. The app is intended to supplement, not replace, the guidance of priests, the Sacraments, and the teachings of the Church.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sanctimus. Users under 18 should have parent or guardian permission.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@sanctimus.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Premium plans are available at the following prices:
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
Our AI chatbot provides responses generated by artificial intelligence based on Scripture and Catholic tradition. AI responses are not a substitute for pastoral counsel, confession, or spiritual direction from an ordained minister. Always consult a priest or qualified spiritual director for serious matters of faith, morality, or mental health.
Content you create within the app — such as prayer journal entries, intentions, and personal notes — belongs to you. We store this content securely and will not share it without your consent except as required by law.
Scripture translations included in the app (King James Version, Douay-Rheims Challoner, Reina-Valera 1909) are in the public domain. Original prayers, reflections, and content authored for Sanctimus are our intellectual property. You may use them for personal devotion but not reproduce them commercially without permission.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time — deletion is permanent and removes your data within 30 days.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that AI responses are theologically perfect. The app does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sanctimus and its developers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
